Allow Location Access for a Website on iPhone

If you tapped Don’t Allow for a website’s location request, use the steps below to re-enable it. Choose your browser and follow the checklist.

✅ If you’re using Safari

Allow location for that website

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down → Safari
  3. Tap Location
  4. Set to While Using the App
Then: open Safari, go to the site again, and when it asks for location, tap Allow.
If you previously blocked that specific site
  1. Go to the website in Safari
  2. Tap the aA button (left of the address bar)
  3. Tap Website Settings
  4. Find Location → set to Allow
  5. Reload the page
✅ If you’re using Chrome (or another browser)

On iPhone, browser location access is mostly controlled by iOS settings.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down → Chrome (or your browser)
  3. Tap Location
  4. Set to While Using the App
  5. Turn ON Precise Location
Then reload the website and choose Allow when prompted.
✅ If it still won’t work

Clear the website’s permission (Safari)

  1. Open SettingsSafari
  2. Tap Advanced
  3. Tap Website Data
  4. Search for the site name
  5. Swipe to delete it (or tap Remove All Website Data)
Then reload the site — it should ask for location permission again.
